Saucered Coffee, Blewed and Cooled is the second book by John S. Case. It is patterned on the same format as his first book, Bogue Chitto Flats. The book contains over thirty short stories that are not connected. This allows the reader to pick any story they wish. The stories get their geographical influence form South Mississippi, but Case has received positive reviews from readers in thirty-one states and two foreign countries. Since these stories were first published in Slidell Magazine where Case makes a monthly contribution he is considered a column writer. In 2018 he was awarded first place in this category by the Press Club of New Orleans. Paperback
